We are pleased to announce Pauline de Souza's , director and founder of Diversity Art Forum essay Transcultural Care and the Cultural Sector in the United Kingdom in the book Curating with Care edited by Elke Krasny and Laura Perry. This book presents over 20 authors' reflections on 'curating care' - and presents a call to give curatorial attention to the primacy of care for all life and for more 'caring curating' that responds to the social, ecological and political analysis of curatorial caregiving. Social and ecological struggles for a different planetary culture based on care and respect for the dignity of life are reflected in contemporary curatorial practices that explore human and non-human interdependence. Dear Pauline, Thank you for participating as a juror in the NYC Open Call. We received 450 eligible proposals from 90 countries, which were voted on by an international panel of over 400 jurors from many disciplines. In addition to many individuals, 23 university classes and 3 specialized high school classes participated as class activity. Jurors were asked to read at least 50 anonymous submissions. Over 16,000 votes were cast to determine the winning four proposals that will become apexart Exhibitions in the 2021-2022 season in NYC. Jurors.
