Big Draw East 2007
In 2007 The Campaign for Drawing launched Big Draw East which occurred in different locations throughout east London.
A number of venues hosted drawing projects and St. Paul's Artspace supported by Diversity Art Forum managed to host two drawing projects. These took place at St. Johns Church in Bethnal Green and at St. Paul's Artspace based at St. Stephens Rd. The Campaign for Drawing launched in 2000 sets out to raise the profile of drawing as a tool for creativity, social and cultural engagement. St. Paul's Artspace projects followed this criteria. Children and adults of all ages were encouraged to use different drawing materials to explore mark making and to not be hindered by the fear of not been able to draw.
