Diversity Art forum is pleased to support Hicham Berrada: Dreamscapes exhibition at the Hayward Gallery Heni Project Space.
Hicham Berrada's kaleidoscopic sculptures, installations and video works are informed by scientific processes and natural phenomena such as 'heat, cold, magnetism' and light-Hayward Gallery Heni Project Space
For his solo exhibition in HENI Project Space - his first in a UK institution - the artist brings together a number of new and existing works, including a series of illuminated tanks that feature delicate and ephemeral chemical landscapes, and a large-scale immersive video installation that explores morphogenesis, the biological process that causes an organism to change shape.
Hicham Berrada (b. 1986 in Casablanca, Morocco) lives and works in Paris, France. His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou, Paris (2019); the Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt-am-Main (2018); Maubuisson Abbey, Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (2017); the Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2017); the Moderna Museet, Stockholm (2016); the ICAS-Institute of Contemporary Art, Singapore (2015); and MoMA PS1, New York (2011), among others.
