Westminster Cross-Party Parliament Forums.

Saturday 26th May 2018

We are pleased to announce that our director continues her work in the Westminster Forums. Recently in a discussion in May 2018 she discussed the problem of discrimination of women by women at an internal panel. This has lead her to having discussions with Dawn Butler MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities and Sue Coe, Head of Employment, Equality and Human Rights Commission. The discussions are focusing on informing women that they can be accused of discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. It is important for women to understand they can be prosecuted for discrimination under this act. It is equally important for women not to tolerate discrimination by any gender and should be encouraged to voice any form of discrimination by all sexes. Already in 2017 there are serious cases where women are speaking out against female discrimination. In addition, she continues to work on support for freelancers in the industrial strategy.
