In 2018 the arebyte Gallery asked Pauline de Souza if she would broker Concertina going to the University of East London. After many discussions between the arebyte Gallery and University of East London, Diversity Art Forum along with Balon-Stuart Eveans and John Eveans, Concertina has been reconstructed in to a different format at the University of East London to comply with health and safety issues plus all the other issues universities have to deal with when taking in a piece of functional artwork. Concertina has been reconstructed in the architectural atrium and is used by staff, students and external organisation plus individuals. Published by New Zealand-based Little Island Press in October 2018, Samoan Queer Lives is a collection of 14 personal stories from one of the world's unique indigenous queer cultures. The first of its kind, the book features pieces by fa'afafine, transgender and queer Samoans based in Sāmoa, Amerika Sāmoa, Australia, Aotearoa NZ, Hawai`i and USA. It is co-edited by New York-based artist and poet Dan Taulapapa McMullin and Samoan-New Zealand interdisciplinary artist Yuki Kihara. Pauline de Souza, Director of Diversity Art Forum has been invited to Chair the panel discussion Master of Her Own Destiny. On International Women's Day, Contemporary Collective brings together artists, industry insiders and invited guests to Bankside Hotel join us for a round table discussion with artists and industry insiders exploring their practice, roles and experiences in and of the art world. The event is organised by Elinor Olisa and Isobel Beauchamp founding members of the Association of Women Art Dealers and Directors Of DegreeArt.com. The Spaceships of Bordeaux Inauguration of part 2, The Spaceship, June 2018, Pier Armand Lalande [Bassins à flot], Bordeaux, France. Academy Now Artist Winner--Leni Dothan. Leni Dothan | Birth & Death 7 October - 12 November Opening 7 October, 2pm Håvegen 347, 4365 NÆRBØ, Norway www.hagamleprestegard.no  I met Leni Dothan in London, during her final degree show at the Slade School of Fine Art,  in June 2015 and seeing her work blow me away immediately… There were videos, sound and photographic installations: they were poetic, strong, bold and at moments, light and even funny. There were reference to classical biblical iconography but the narrative was new and original, personal and universal. Her work revisits representation of women and motherhood in renaissance paintings and through powerful installations she encourages the viewer to reflect upon the non-spoken.  Leni was there and I interviewed her on the spot. Before announcing them, I would like to thank all artists who submitted their application showing us that there is a specific need for projects dedicated to recent art graduates.
